By the landscape and climate, Mongolia is divided into 5 regions: south, west, north, east, and central. People living in these different regions have a different lifestyles, livestock, and culture from one another. Eagle hunters live in the high mountains of the west, reindeer herders live in the deep forest neighboring Siberia, horsemen of the fastest horses in the country live in the endless steppe of the east, camel herders live in the Gobi desert of the south and last but not least, central part holds the most historical heritage of central-Asian nomads. All our tours are designed with a day in the life program. It is a chance to interact deeply with the nomadic people and learn about their everyday life. Live like a herder for a day in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful nature. Hear their stories, do daily chores, and learn what it is like to live as a nomad in Mongolia.
